After a stuck landing at the 2016 NCAA Gymnastics Championships, it sunk in. This is the last competitive routine for Bridget Sloan. “I don’t know that I have the words to explain how I feel about gymnastics,” Sloan said.
“She absolutely knew it was coming to an end,” Coach Jenny Rowland said. “She made every moment count.”
While the Oklahoma Sooners celebrating a 1st place win, Sloan fought back tears as she hugged every teammate, and coach.
“It’s amazing what I’ve been able to accomplish at Florida, before Florida. The journey of gymnastics has been incredible.” – Bridget Sloan
