Her favorite technique: rolling across the floor from back to front and front to back with her arms and legs off the ground at all times. “It strengthens your back muscles, and people often neglect that part of their core,” says her longtime coach, Aimee Boorman. “Simone trains hard, but she also has uncanny air awareness.
